Jack is the Clinic Manager at Growing Hope Redbridge. Jack joined Growing Hope in January 2025 and has been a Speech and Language Therapist for 5 years. He has developed a passion for supporting vulnerable children and families to be able to communicate and self-advocate. In his spare time, he volunteers for a charity called Cry in the Dark that has built an orphanage and a hospice in Romania - this has given him a passion for working with charities, also to support vulnerable children and families.

Adrienne Wright (Chair) – Adrienne has over 35 years experience of working with children with additional and complex needs and their families, including being the Headteacher of a couple of London Special Schools. She is passionate about working collaboratively with children and their families and is delighted to be part of the Growing Hope Team in Redbridge.
Shan Bi – Shan is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a mother of a young man with autism. Shan is currently the lead for Breathe Service at All Saints Woodford Wells for people with learning disabilities and their families. Shan is passionate about bringing the hope from God to families in need; helping to build community for families that are isolated and on the edge of society. Shan has hands-on experience working with speech and language therapists; occupational therapists, behavioural therapists, music therapists, psychologists and social workers. Shan loves to share her experience and to help others.
Kirsty Giddy – Kirsty is a mum to two grown up children and is a full time Primary School teacher in a main-stream setting. Kirsty’s husband is currently a pioneer curate in the Church of England and they have worked together in youth and children’s work in church for many years. One of the things that attracted Kirsty most to Growing Hope is the support that is offered to families and siblings of children with additional needs. Kirsty hopes that Growing Hope Redbridge will be able to support many local children and families and introduce them to the love that Jesus has for them.Â
Rachel Whitelegg – Rachel is Operations Manager at her church and has volunteered in many different ways across the life of the church since 1995. She enjoys working with children and young people and has been a volunteer within scouting since 2011, particularly enjoying the pastoral side of the role and working alongside children and young people with additional needs to allow them to have equal access to and benefit from the full programme of events in a tailored and appropriate way.Â
Mary Nunns – Mary is a retired GP, having worked in an inner – city practice for 22 years. She had many contacts with families whose children had additional needs, caring for them over the years, and the practice also had responsibility for adults with learning difficulties living in supported housing. She hopes her knowledge of medicine, and experience of using the NHS, will be useful in her role.
Gillian Hampton – Gill is currently working for the NHS as a Clinical Project Manager in a local GP practice. She has a special interest in patients with learning disabilities regularly conducting reviews. Over the years it has not only been rewarding to work with the patients with special needs, it has also been a joy to get to know the families and creating a space where they can find support and be signposted for further help when needed. Gill has a brother who is severely autistic and helps to support close friends who have two children on the spectrum. She is passionate about access to good support for the entire family. Growing Hope is going to do just that. Hope for those who need it most.Â
