Growing Hope King’s Cross is a charity offering free therapy for children and young people (0-18) with additional needs. We also provide support for parents, carers and siblings through our groups and courses. Our clinic is open to everyone in the Camden and Islington area.

Free Therapy in King's Cross

Lots of children with additional needs don’t have access to the therapy they need to reach their full potential. Growing Hope King’s Cross runs in partnership with King’s Cross Church (KXC) with a vision to see all children and families thrive. We accept referrals for children and young people with diagnosed or undiagnosed additional needs who live in Camden or Islington. Parents, carers or professionals can make a referral on a child’s behalf. Growing Hope is open to all regardless of belief.

Phoenix's Story

Phoenix was referred to our clinic he was 3 years old after an NHS assessment showed he was delayed in his speaking. After attending occupational therapy he was able to allow his senses to become more in tune with the world.

Lead Therapist & Clinic Manager

Abi is our Lead Therapist and Clinic Manager. She is an experienced children’s speech and language therapist, with a specialism in Autism. She has a passion for working with children and their families, supporting the development of communication skills so that everyone can understand others and be understood themselves. Abi works alongside a team of therapists who all specialise in different types of therapy. We are really looking forward to meeting you!

Our Growing Hope King’s Cross clinic currently runs therapy sessions at King’s House, 242 Pentonville Rd, London N1 9NG. The clinic is open on weekdays during term time. Access is by appointment only, please make a referral and then we will be in touch over email to arrange an appointment.

King's Cross Church (KXC)

Partner Church

Growing Hope King's Cross works in partnership with KXC. We are grateful to the KXC community for their support, volunteers and for welcoming Growing Hope families. Our Lead Therapist and Clinic Manager will be at KXC services on Sunday mornings to help welcome and support any families with additional needs who come along. Families of all faiths are welcome to attend our clinics.

Charity Oversight

Growing Hope King’s Cross is a registered charity: number 1176251. Growing Hope King’s Cross’ therapists are all members of a professional board and receive regular clinical supervision. We take the safety and wellbeing of all children really seriously – you can read our latest Covid-19 and safeguarding policies here. Each year we complete an annual report which gives details of the impact that we have had in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
