Growing Hope King’s Cross runs in collaboration with King’s Cross Church (KXC) with a vision to see all children and families thrive. We accept referrals for children and young people with diagnosed or undiagnosed additional needs who live in Camden or Islington. Parents, carers or professionals can make a referral on a child’s behalf. Growing Hope is open to all regardless of belief. Growing Hope King’s Cross has two clinic spaces, at King’s House, 242 Pentonville Rd, London N1 9JY, and at St Saviour’s Church, 79 Hanley Road, Finsbury Park, London, N4 3DQ. If you have received an invitation to therapy, please check your invitation letters to find out which clinic you have been invited to.Â
The clinic is open on weekdays during term time. Access is by appointment only, please make a referral and then we will be in touch over email to arrange an appointment.

Kaiden was diagnosed with autism when he was 2 and half and since then he has received a few types of therapy with Growing Hope. Through coming to sessions with our therapists, he has learnt practical skills like turn-taking and how to articulate himself, and his Mum and Dad also feel more we feel more confident and equipped to help him with what he needs at home.Â
Abi is our Clinic Manager. She is an experienced children’s speech and language therapist, with a specialism in Autism. She has a passion for working with children and their families, supporting the development of communication skills so that everyone can understand others and be understood themselves. Abi works alongside a team of therapists who all specialise in different types of therapy. We are really looking forward to meeting you!

Growing Hope King's Cross works in collaboration with KXC. We are grateful to the KXC community for their support, volunteers and for welcoming Growing Hope families. Our Clinic Manager will be at KXC services on Sunday mornings to help welcome and support any families with additional needs who come along. Families of all faiths are welcome to attend our clinics.
Growing Hope King’s Cross is a registered charity: number 1176251. Growing Hope King’s Cross’ therapists are all members of a professional board and receive regular clinical supervision. We take the safety and wellbeing of all children really seriously – you can read our latest safeguarding policy here. Each year we complete an annual report which gives details of the impact that we have had in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.Â
Rhianna Connolly – (Chair) Rhianna works in executive search, supporting a range of organisations in appointing their senior leaders and Board members, including universities, government departments, and charities.
David Straiton –Â David is a doctor specialising in mental health and has several years of UK and international experience.
Lauren Sibuns –Â Lauren is a Director of Teacher Talent at a school in North London. She brings teaching experience to the team.
Dan Kheng – Dan acts as treasurer of Growing Hope King’s Cross and has been attending KXC since 2016. He works as a financial professional in Canary Wharf – although, until this day, still struggles to explain to his family & friends what he actually does! He genuinely loves a spreadsheet and can happily retire now that he has achieved the highest accolade of all – navigating Excel without a mouse.
Jess Bradley – Jess has recently joined Kings Cross Church as Operations Director. With a background in ESG and HR across various industries, she loves the fact that she is able to combine her experience and faith to help support Growing Hope in anyway she can.
Thomas Sharpe – Thomas currently works as a strategy lead for the National Grid, supporting the UK’s transition to Net Zero. He previously worked as a consultant, a role which included helping a local council to improve its provision and communication of SEND services in schools. He has lived in the Kings Cross area for 5 of his 6 years in London and wants to support organisations that contribute to the area thriving.
Tim Bodey – Tim has a background as both a teacher and a charity leader. He has worked in several secondary schools and held leadership roles within charities. Currently, Tim is an Account Manager at Unifrog, where he supports schools across North London, Essex, and Suffolk. He is passionate about Growing Hope’s mission to provide children with the tools and opportunities they need to thrive.
