Growing Hope King’s Cross

Growing Hope King’s Cross provides therapy services and support groups for children and young people living in Camden or Islington. If you know a 0-18 year old who has any kind of additional needs – physical, learning, mental health, or undiagnosed needs, they may benefit from one of our therapy services. You can make a referral using our referral form, further information about what our sessions involve can be found here, our clinic information flyer is here. Parents can self-refer or professionals can refer with parental consent. You will need the child’s name, date of birth, address, and a summary of concerns.

Courses and Groups

Growing King’s Cross runs the following courses and groups:

  • Circle of Security parenting course, our next course is running in person, at St Saviours, Finsbury Park in May 21. Sign up via the Google form.
  • When Dreams Change, exploring how parents adjust to and process having a child with additional needs. Please contact us for more information on the next course.
  • Siblings Group, enabling brothers and sisters of children and young people with additional needs to share their experience. Our next course will take place soon, please contact us for more information on the next group.
  • Baby Massage, enabling parents and carers to learn full body massage routines to promote communication and bonding between babies and their primary caregiver. Contact us to hear about our next course.

Annual reports

Find us

You can find Growing Hope King’s Cross clinic at the Action for Children centre, 3 Cubitt Street, London WC1X 0LJ.

The clinic is open Tuesday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm. Access is by appointment only, please make a referral and then look out for an emailed appointment letter.

Growing Hope King’s Cross is supported by local church KXC. In addition to clinic hours, our Lead Therapist and Clinic Manager will be at KXC services on Sunday mornings to help welcome and support any families with additional needs who come along.

Growing Hope currently operates in Camden and Islington, through Growing Hope King’s Cross. We aim to provide free therapy services across the UK and are always looking to open new clinics in partnership with local churches, see our clinic page to find out about our existing clinics or to register your interest to set one up.
