Growing Hope High Wycombe is a charity offering free therapy for children and young people (0-18) with additional needs. We also provide support for parents, carers and siblings through our groups and courses. Our therapy clinic is now open for referrals for children and families living in the High Wycombe area.
Lots of children with additional needs don’t have access to the therapy they need to reach their full potential. Estelle is our Lead Therapist and Clinic Manager. She is a Speech & Language Therapist and Audiologist at Growing Hope High Wycombe with extensive clinical experience working with children and young adults with a range of difficulties in a variety of settings. Estelle is also trained in play therapy, DIR floor time, sensory integration and feeding. She has a passion for working with children and families, developing communication goals, and helping each child reach their potential.

Growing Hope High Wycombe works in partnership with St James' Downley. We are grateful to the community for their support, volunteers and for welcoming Growing Hope families. Our Lead Therapist and Clinic Manager will be at services on Sunday mornings to help welcome and support any families with additional needs who come along. Families of all faiths are welcome to attend our clinics.

Growing Hope High Wycombe is a registered charity: number 1195290. Growing Hope therapists are all members of a professional board and receive regular clinical supervision. We take the safety and wellbeing of all children really seriously – you can read our latest Covid-19 and safeguarding policies here. Each year we complete an annual report which gives details of the impact that we have had in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
Jan Fishwick (Chair) – Jan is a retired social worker and has spent many years in the field of adoption, latterly at PACT, supporting adoptive families meet their children’s additional needs caused by early trauma. She is a great believer in people’s resourcefulness, working together to ensure holistic wellbeing for children and families. She belongs to the St James’ Downley church community and is delighted to be part of Growing Hope High Wycombe.
Angela McInerney – Angela is a bookkeeper for St Andrew’s Church and the mother of Matthew who is Autistic. Matthew is now 28 so Angela has had lots of experience with a child/adult with additional needs. Angela has also volunteered at New Wine for 4 years supporting and praying for the parents of children/adults with additional needs. She is excited to be involved with supporting children with additional needs and their families/carers.
Heather Morley – Heather has lived in High Wycombe since 2005 and has been a fundraising and marketing volunteer for another local charity for over 10 years. She also works in a local school, supplying uniform to pupils and very much enjoys spending time with parents and their children in this way. She has a wide local network of friends, colleagues and other contacts, and she hopes to engage as many of them as possible in the great work that Growing Hope High Wycombe will do to help local families in need of some extra help.
Lydia Cook – Lydia is the Church Manager at St Andrew’s Church in High Wycombe. She has been part of the congregation there for many years and is passionate about serving the local community through the church.
Elizabeth Evans – Elizabeth is a member of the congregation at St James, Downley and works for a local software company. She has been a supporter of Growing Hope for several years and is delighted to be involved with the charity at a local level.
Heather Graham – Heather is vicar of St James Downley. She has a counselling background and over 10 years experience of working with parents of children with additional needs and is excited to be involved in offering support to these children in the Wycombe area, and to their parents, carers and siblings.
