We accept referrals for children and young people with diagnosed or undiagnosed additional needs who live in High Wycombe. Parents, carers or professionals can make a referral on a child’s behalf. Growing Hope is open to all regardless of belief.

Rosalyn is our Clinic Manager. She is a Speech and Language Therapist and has experience of working with primary and secondary aged children with a variety of difficulties and needs. Rosalyn is passionate about providing support for children and their families and helping them to reach their communication goals.
Our Growing Hope High Wycombe clinic currently runs therapy sessions at St James’ Church Downley, Plomer Hill, High Wycombe HP13 5NB. The clinic is open on weekdays during term time. Access is by appointment only, please make a referral and then we will be in touch over email to arrange an appointment.

Elijah is diagnosed with autism and hyperactive behaviour, and mum Odelia had shared that she had been feeling stressed and that she didn’t know how to support Elijah. After coming along to a local church, Odelia heard about Growing Hope and our therapists were able to support both Elijah and Odelia through music therapy and sharing strategies for Odelia to support Elijah at home.

Growing Hope High Wycombe works in collaboration with St James' Downley. We are grateful to the community for their support, volunteers and for welcoming Growing Hope families. Our Clinic Manager will be at services on Sunday mornings to help welcome and support any families with additional needs who come along. Families of all faiths are welcome to attend our clinics.
Growing Hope High Wycombe is a registered charity: number 1195290. Growing Hope therapists are all members of a professional board and receive regular clinical supervision. We take the safety and wellbeing of all children really seriously – you can read our latest safeguarding policy here. Each year we complete an annual report which gives details of the impact that we have had in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
Jan Fishwick (Chair) – Jan is a retired social worker and has spent many years in the field of adoption, latterly at PACT, supporting adoptive families meet their children’s additional needs caused by early trauma. She is a great believer in people’s resourcefulness, working together to ensure holistic wellbeing for children and families. She belongs to the St James’ Downley church community and is delighted to be part of Growing Hope High Wycombe.
Heather Morley – Heather has lived in High Wycombe since 2005 and has been a fundraising and marketing volunteer for another local charity for over 10 years. She also works in a local school, supplying uniform to pupils and very much enjoys spending time with parents and their children in this way. She has a wide local network of friends, colleagues and other contacts, and she hopes to engage as many of them as possible in the great work that Growing Hope High Wycombe will do to help local families in need of some extra help.
Lydia Cook – Lydia is the Church Manager at St Andrew’s Church in High Wycombe. She has been part of the congregation there for many years and is passionate about serving the local community through the church.
Heather Graham – Heather is vicar of St James’ Downley. She has a counselling background and over 10 years experience of working with parents of children with additional needs and is excited to be involved in offering support to these children in the Wycombe area, and to their parents, carers and siblings.
Amy Dixon – Amy is a teacher with a passion for helping young people fulfil their potential in all areas of life. She has a background in marketing and fundraising within the charity sector and has supported young people with additional needs within a school environment and at the New Wine summer conferences. Amy lives in High Wycombe with her husband and young children and is hugely excited to be part of Growing Hope’s work with families in the local community.
Jacky Sackville – Jacky is a newly retired Chartered Management accountant with experience gained through a number of senior leadership roles in commerce and more latterly within the charity sector. She has lived in Downley for nearly 40 years and is now a member of St James’ Church in Downley. She is very enthusiastic and excited about the wonderful help and support that Growing Hope High Wycombe can bring to local families and is honoured to be a Growing Hope High Wycombe trustee.
