Are you a reluctant rambler or a steadfast stroller? Are you a ten-thousand steps a day kind of person? Or is a walk just a practical, functional activity to get you from one place to the next. Either way, you are invited to take part in Growing Hope’s Huge Hike for Hope.

Will you stride out over the month of June and contribute to Growing Hope’s mission of providing hope for children with additional needs – children like Olivia who has asked for Growing Hope therapy for strategies to get into school.

There are a number of ways you can participate. You can simply pay for a place at one of our Hotspot walks, or sign up as a group to raise funds together in a Hub. We are offering tiered rewards depending on the success of your fundraising.

Other ways to Hike

Hike from Home

Turn your school run, or your commute into a little bit of fundraising. Of even better, ditch the wheels and use your feet. Count your steps and add them to our total.

Children can create a SuperKind account to raise money.

Hike from Home

Hike from a Hub

Are you already part of a walking group? Or just a group of friends who like to walk together. Why not make one of your next walks into a Growing Hope Fundraiser.

We will create you a group JustGiving page. Those who join your walk can donate, and even ask friends to sponsor them there.

Hike from a Hub

Hike on Holiday

Are you going somewhere exotic, or perhaps staying close to home. Either way, can you turn your holiday hike into a fundraising effort, and perhaps motivate the kids to get involved too.

Children can create a SuperKind account to raise money.

Hike On Holiday

How does it work?

Olivia is 6. Her big smile in this picture may paint a picture of a content child. But behind the smile Olivia finds it really hard to go to school. On a typical Monday morning Olivia’s Mum faces the very real challenge so many parents face of getting her child into school.

If only Olivia could get into therapy. Early intervention would teach her and her mum strategies to help both of them as their anxiety increases.

Growing Hope provides free multidisciplinary therapy for children and young people to bridge the gap while families are waiting. But they are charity, and need funds to support children like Olivia.

This is where you – and your feet come in. Will you take part in Growing Hope’s 2025 Huge Hike for Hope?

It’s not all about the walking, it’s about the difference it will make to children like Olivia. You can simply donate to participate, or you can get sponsorship from friends and family.

You’ll be rewarded for your efforts. See the table below to find out how.
