We currently offer the follow therapy types:
We accept referrals for children and young people with diagnosed or undiagnosed additional needs who live in Lewisham and Southwark. Parents, carers or professionals can make a referral on a child’s behalf. Growing Hope is open to all regardless of belief.

Our Growing Hope Brockley clinic runs therapy sessions at the St Peter’s Brockley, Wickham Rd, London, SE4 1LT. The clinic is open on weekdays during term time. Access is by appointment only, please make a referral and then we will be in touch over email to arrange an appointment.

Kirsten is the Clinic Manager at Growing Hope Brockley. Kirsten is an experienced educational psychologist and psychotherapist, having worked within a variety of school and private practice environments composing of multidisciplinary teams. Through her work, she has developed a passion for psychotherapy, assessment practices and methods in her work with children, young people and their families and environments they are a part of. She is excited to be using her skills and experience to positively impact the children, young people, and families at Growing Hope Brockley.

Growing Hope Brockley works in collaboration with St Peter's Brockley. We are grateful to the St Peter's community for their support, volunteers and for welcoming Growing Hope families. Our Clinic Manager will be at St Peter's services on Sunday mornings to help welcome and support any families with additional needs who come along. Families of all faiths are welcome to attend our clinics.
Growing Brockley is a registered charity: number 1188708. Growing Hope Brockley’s therapists are all members of a professional board and receive regular clinical supervision. We take the safety and wellbeing of all children really seriously – you can read our latest safeguarding policy here. Each year we complete an annual report which gives details of the impact that we have had in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
Nicole Nelson (Chair) – Nicole currently works for a certified B Corporation as a Senior Product Manager, having spent the last several years working across the Finance and Tech industries. Nicole is passionate about the work that Growing Hope is doing to transform the lives of children and their families.
Lynne Wilkinson – Lynne was an early years teacher in a primary school. For the final 18 years of her career she was the SENCO/Inclusion Manager, working with, and supporting, parents and children with special educational needs. Lynne has lived in Brockley for 40 years and has been a member of the St. Peter’s family for over 30 years. It has been her long-time concern that children with additional needs have not met the thresholds to access help within the borough.
Lucy Dacey – Lucy currently works for the Crown Prosecution Service designing policy solutions to improve the response to crimes against women and girls. She has spent her career in public policy, working across the charity and state sector focusing on criminal justice and child protection. A resident of Brockley, and mum to two young girls she is committed to ensuring services – and the hope they bring – are available to families when they need them.
Nikki Thornton – Nikki is a qualified Music Therapist who works integratively and holistically. She has experience working in schools with children with additional needs and specialises in the field of mental health, recovery and addiction and trauma. She is currently the service manager of a specialist intensive treatment centre for Eating Disorders. Nikki is passionate about providing a safe and supportive space for people to express themselves through sound and play and is utterly convinced of the power of music to communicate what words often fail to. She also works to support parents, carers and siblings with their respective processes and journeys. Nikki is particularly passionate about working within, and alongside teams to explore and understand systemic dynamics and parallel processes, in order to prioritise healthy and flourishing work cultures. She is in the process of training to be a clinical supervisor.
Eleanor Orr – Eleanor works as an accountant for a charity based in London Bridge and is keen to use her skills and experience in the service of Growing Hope, realising that she has much to learn as well as to offer. She has lived near Brockley for over 40 years and has raised three daughters in the area. She is keen to participate in the work that Growing Hope is doing in support of children and their families.
