Box Hill Hot Spot – Saturday 14 June 2025

Join me, Becki, as I lead a walk to take in the awe-inspiring views on Box Hill in Tadworth, Surrey. If you’re a Jane Austen fan, you may remember that this scenic location is in her novel Emma!

We’ll start just outside the National Trust Visitor Centre. Paid car parking is available (free for National Trust members) and other means of getting there can be found on the National Trust’s website. We’ll be following the Happy Valley circular walk (see map below), which should take 1.5 hours and along the way, we’ll come across some popular landmarks and there will be opportunities to take photos of the beautiful scenery. Once we’ve finished the walk, there is the option to gather together afterwards for a picnic lunch (please bring your own food) or stop off at the café for a well deserved cup of tea and slice of cake!
