Growing Hope Tunbridge Wells will offer free therapy for children and young people (0-18) with additional needs living within the Tunbridge Wells area.
The clinic is due to open in early 2026.
Lots of children with additional needs don’t have access to the therapy they need to reach their full potential. Growing Hope Tunbridge Wells runs in collaboration with The Wells Church, with a vision to see all children and families thrive. We will be accepting referrals for children and young people with diagnosed or undiagnosed additional needs who live in Tunbridge Wells. Parents, carers or professionals can make a referral on a child’s behalf. Growing Hope is open to all regardless of belief.
We will also provide support for parents, carers and siblings through our groups and courses.

Our Growing Hope Tunbridge Wells clinic will run therapy sessions at The Wells Church, Hanover Road, Tunbridge Wells, TN1 1EY. The clinic will be open on weekdays during term time. Access is by appointment only, please make a referral and then we will be in touch over email to arrange an appointment. You can contact us at tunbridgewells@growinghope.org.uk.

Growing Hope Tunbridge works in partnership with The Wells Church. We are grateful to the community for their support, volunteers and for welcoming Growing Hope families. Our Clinic Manager will be at services on Sunday mornings to help welcome and support any families with additional needs who come along. Families of all faiths are welcome to attend our clinics.
Growing Hope Tunbridge Wells is currently in the process of applying for charity status. Growing Hope therapists are all members of a professional board and receive regular clinical supervision. We take the safety and wellbeing of all children really seriously – you can read our latest safeguarding policy here. Each year we complete an annual report which gives details of the impact that we have had in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.

Richard Warner (Chair) – An experienced leader, fundraising professional, project manager and communicator with over 15 years experience in the not for profit sector working in a number of young people, children’s and healthcare charities. With his wife, he serves the youth and young adults in their church, both on a Sunday morning and at other times through the week. An experienced committee member outside of his working career, Richard is delighted to have the opportunity to be Chair of Trustees for Growing Hope Tunbridge Wells and see the clinic established to provide vital services to those children and young people in the local community who need them.
Stuart Mayho – Stuart is the Pastor of The Wells Church, and in this role enjoys supporting people and families from a wide range of different backgrounds. He has been a trustee of several charities over many years and is committed to encouraging effective partnerships in the local community. As a father and grandfather, he loves to see different generations inspiring, bringing hope and helping each other.
Jauida Boorman – Jauida is a wife and mother of 2 children. She is currently a stay-at-home mum, home educating her 2 boys. Together they are a core part of a Christian home education community. As well as many other leadership roles within the church, Jauida facilitates a weekly toddler group at The Wells Church. She has a passion for all children and families to thrive in the challenging circumstances of the world today. Prior to having a family, Jauida had a 19 year career in the fruit import business, handling complaints data and facilitating meetings with multiple supply leaders. She is delighted to use her skills, experience and compassion to enable Growing Hope Tunbridge Wells to serve those who encounter additional needs in the community.
