What we believe

We believe that Jesus offers hope to everyone and that he knows and loves each of us. Motivated by this hope, the therapists working for Growing Hope will offer to pray for those who come to the clinic. We want people to feel comfortable and will always allow you to choose whether you participate or not. Everyone is welcome at Growing Hope clinics regardless of their beliefs.

Growing Hope is motivated by Christian faith and the advancement of faith is therefore part of the charity objectives. We believe that God has created every individual and longs to be in relationship with them, and that Jesus came to earth, died and rose again in order that we can have relationship with Him. We live out that relationship with the help of the Holy Spirit, and in community with other Christians, seeking to live the way that Jesus taught, as recorded in the Bible.

At Growing Hope, we believe that being a part of local church community is an essential part of living a Christian life. Therefore, every local Growing Hope is set up and run through a local church and each lead therapist is part of the staff team at that church. Part of their role is to make their church more accessible for children and young people with additional needs. They work at the service on a Sunday to make sure that families can come along to church if they would like to and receive the support that they need while they are there.

If you have more questions about faith, you can contact your local church through your Growing Hope clinic.
